Kaylee Anderson is from Cloquet, MN and started her dance journey at 3 years old. Kaylee began dancing competitively at the age of 10, training in jazz, ballet, lyrical, contemporary, hip hop, musical theater and tap.
During her competitive dance career she received multiple high point, special and overall placement awards. Kaylee received additional training in New York from Chloe Arnold, Ofer Ben, Avi Miller and Maud Arnold and was selected to perform in the showcase for the Big Apple Tap Festival.
Kaylee began teaching at the age of 16 through assistant and substitute teaching opportunities and has continued to grow her love for teaching. Kaylee specializes in Tap but loves to teach and choreograph other styles as well. Kaylee’s choreography has received numerous choreography awards as well as special recognition and overall high point awards at various competitions.
In addition to her work with Madill, Kaylee has been choreographing for the Aitkin high school theater program since 2022. Kaylee is also currently in school to become a radiology technician through Lake Superior College.
Kaylee is excited to continue to share her love for dance with everyone here at Madill!
